The Best Bookstore in the World

Jon and I drove to Portland this last weekend to attend the wedding of our friend Bryce. We were really only there for about 24 hours, but we did get some touristy stuff in. We went to Peacock Lane, a street in Portland where all the houses decorated for Christmas. It was great. One house even had a leg-lamp in their window like in "The Christmas Story."

Jon and I also went downtown to Powell Books. I was happy to go to a bookstore, but totally elated when we arrived and I discovered that Powell Books is a whole city block and they actually have maps available for you to find your way around. Powell Books is what I imagine heaven is like. lol....

On our way home we went to Multnomah Falls. It was so cold, but beautiful.
