Discussing Murder With Maggie

I recorded a second episode of my podcast this weekend. I was visiting my daughter Maggie at college, because her birthday is this week, and we decided to record a podcast together. You can listen to the episode below. We discuss the plot for a possible story. She is an amazing writer, and I always value her opinion.

You may notice some tinkling noises and throat clearing in the background of this episode. Those are from my daughter’s cat (Persephone) and myself, respectively. It’s a pretty low-tech endeavor so far, so please bear with me.

In addition to recording a podcast episode, we ate birthday cake, went to a really good sushi place, and shopped at Auntie’s Bookstore in Spokane (if you haven’t visited, you should). I stayed in her dorm room with her, and I can tell you that the beds are just as uncomfortable as I remember. Any lost sleep or aches and pains from the weekend were totally worth it.
