Valentine writing contest

We will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Writing Contest. The contest will consist of 3 rounds of writing. Each round of writing will consist of a new writing topic and a word limit as well as the timeframe in which the writing must be turned in. Those interested must enter in by February 4th. Contest begins on the 8th. 1st Round— Contestants will be given a Valentine’s Day topic. Each writer must write a 2,500 word story based on the topic given. Writers will have 6 days to write and submit their pieces. Judges will then choose the top 5 writers from round 1 to make it to round 2. 2nd Round— Contestants will be given a new writing topic. Each writer must write a 2,000 word story based on this given topic. Writers will have only 3 days to write and submit their story. Judges will then choose the top 3 writers from round 2 to make it to round 3. 3rd Round— Contestants will be given a new writing topic. They must write a 1,500 word story based on the new topic given to them. Writers will have 24 hours to write and submit their story. Judges will then choose 1 winner from this round. All writers will receive a digital seal for each round of writing they made it to as well as being featured inside of our February Issue. All stories written by the writers will be featured inside our February Issue for a one time publication. When writers enter into our contest they are agreeing to giving us the right to feature their stories within our issue. Writers can enter in by emailing us: urbanliteraryagency@gmail.com. Please but Valentine’s Day Contest in the subject area. We will then email a confirmation of entry as well as an invoice for the $5 entry fee.
